The Adamant Story: Why We Build

The best homes don't happen by accident. They're shaped by experience, refined through observation, and improved one thoughtful decision at a time.

Because the goal isn't to build more homes, it's to build better ones.

For more than fifty years, the Sundquist family has helped shape communities throughout the Puget Sound.

Beginning with the founding of Sundquist Homes in 1974, the family built thousands of homes and developed neighborhoods across the region, earning a reputation for quality construction, thoughtful planning, and a deep understanding of the communities they served. From growing suburbs to established neighborhoods, their work helped create places that generations of families would eventually call home.

But experience teaches valuable lessons.

Over decades of homebuilding, the Sundquist family learned that great homes are rarely the result of doing the same thing over and over again. They come from paying attention. Listening. Learning. Refining. Understanding what works, what doesn't, and how the way people live continues to evolve over time.

After selling Sundquist Homes to a national builder nearly a decade ago, Larry and David Sundquist found themselves drawn back to the work they enjoyed most: creating thoughtfully designed homes rooted in the communities they know best.

That vision became Adamant Homes.

Not a larger company. A more focused one.

Today, Adamant Homes builds a select number of communities throughout the Puget Sound region, bringing together generations of experience with a commitment to continual improvement.

Every community is approached individually. Every homesite is considered carefully. Every floorplan is refined through real-world experience and a belief that thoughtful design can make everyday life just a little bit better.

Because great homebuilding isn't about building the same home over and over again. It's about knowing what to keep. Knowing what to improve. Knowing what matters most.

And building each home a little better than the last.
